It’s that time of the year when Starbucks and other Coffee shops alike come out with all the sugary sweet seasonal beverages. One of my all time favorites is the classic Starbucks Gingerbread Latte. However, these bad boys are packed full of sugar and carbs and not part of my current lifestyle choices. But I can’t go without a gingerbread latte right?! So here we are with my classic Gingerbread Latte Bulletproof Coffee Recipe.
Start with making my Gingerbread Spice Mix!
Gingerbread Spice Blend Ingredients:
2 Tablespoons Cinnamon
2 Tablespoons Ginger
1 Tablespoon Allspice
1 Tablespoon Nutmeg
1 Tablespoon Cloves (ground)
Add all ingredients into a bowl and blend well. I placed mine into an old Cinnamon container so that I had a nice little sprinkle on lid and a good container to store the blend in. If you don’t have a spice container available use a small tight container with a good sealing lid.
Now that you have your spice blend, it’s time to make yourself a Gingerbread Latte!
Ingredients for basic gingerbread bulletproof coffee:
1 Tablespoon Butter
1 Tablespoon MCT Oil (I prefer the Now Sports Brand)
2 Tablespoons Heavy Whipping Cream
Liquid Stevia or Monkfruit sweetener to taste
Coffee (I prefer 8-16 oz)
Gingerbread spice blend to taste (I sprinkle approximately 1/4-1/2 teaspoon)
Place all ingredients in a blender and blitz until frothy/foamy on top (about 10 seconds). If you desire you can top with homemade whipped cream (no sugar added) and a little gingerbread spice sprinkled on top. Yummy!
